A-Class Asbestos Removal – Defence Establishment Berrimah

Darwin Asbestos & Demolition (DAD) recently completed an A Class Asbestos removal project at Defence Establishment Berrimah that required full encapsulation of the area. An asbestos based sealing membrane around perimeter of a water tank had deteriorated due to age and was deemed to be friable.

Our crew setup full encapsulation of the area with HEPA negative air units, and three-staged econtamination to enable removal of the sealing membrane without liberating fibres into the surrounding environment. Whilst only a small project, DAD is one of only a few licensed Asbestos Removal companies in the NT that can carry out A Class (Friable) asbestos removal.
