Fire Damaged Dwelling (Katherine) – A Class Asbestos Removal and Full Demolition

DAD were engaged by TPG Insurance and Maintenance to remove friable asbestos and demolish a fire damaged property in Katherine, NT. This was a complex taskthat required considering planning to ensure containment of dust/fibres, and safely demolish an unstable structure.

With considerable dust suppression setup to effectively encapsulate the site, the dwelling was slowly demolished and cleaned up to an acceptable level. Air monitoring was in place during the activity to ensure no release of airborne contaminants to neighbouring residences.
